INSTRUCTIONS TO USE:

1. Prep with Shampoo: Wash hair with a Ylno Emerald Shampoo to remove surface buildup. Gently squeeze out excess water with a towel so hair is damp but not dripping.
2. Section & Apply: Divide hair into 4 sections. Take a small amount of the mask and work it into your palms first. Apply from mid-lengths to ends, avoiding the scalp to maintain natural volume.
3. The "Milking" Technique: Use your fingers to "milk" the product into the hair—sliding your hands down the hair shaft repeatedly. This mechanical action helps the Tucuma and Marula oils bypass the cuticle and enter the cortex.
4. Process (The Vital Step):
   • Standard Care: Leave on for 5–10 minutes.
   • Intensive Therapy: For extremely dry or curly hair, cover with a plastic cap and apply low heat (or a warm towel) for 15–20 minutes. Heat expands the hair's diameter, allowing the Pracaxi and Prickly Pear oils to bond more effectively.
5. Cool Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with cool water. This "shocks" the cuticle into closing, trapping the botanical lipids inside and creating a high-shine, frizz-free finish.

• Frequency: Because this is a high-lipid formula, use it once a week or every third wash. Over-use on fine hair may lead to "limp" strands.
• Detangling: This mask has excellent "slip" thanks to the Quaternium-91. Use a wide-tooth comb while the mask is in your hair to detangle without breakage.
• Pre-Bleach Shield: You can apply a tiny amount to dry ends 24 hours before a chemical service to help protect the protein structure from oxidative stress.
